A woman, who identified as Jane Doe, is accusing Chris Brown of assault and is now clarifying that Diddy was not a participant in her allegation.
The woman filed a $20 million lawsuit against Chris Brown for allegedly drugging and raping her on a yacht that was outside of Diddy’s Miami mansion. She alleged that the incident took place in 2020, which sparked speculations about whether or not the Bad Boy rap mogul was directly involved in the allegation.
According to Page Six, Jane Doe’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell, says Diddy was not on the boat at the time of the alleged incident. “The yacht was docked behind his house on Star Island. We now believe he may have owned the yacht or chartered it,” Mitchell told the outlet. “We have not been able to confirm that’s why we did not specify the type of ownership.”
The outlet also reported that they saw a preview of Investigation Discovery’s, ID, upcoming documentary on the R&B singer, Chris Brown: A History of Violence, where the woman talked about Diddy as being “nice.” She alleges in the forthcoming documentary that the singer gave her a drink that she didn’t see him pour but felt tired and heavy after consuming the second drink that he gave her. She claimed that Breezy then took her to a bedroom on the yacht where the alleged assault took place.
“I couldn’t move and I said ‘No’ and then I felt him… next thing I knew he was inside me,” she said. “I didn’t want it and he’s kissing me from stopping me from talking … I was so disgusted.”
Chris Brown has not spoken publicly about the allegation. However, ID’s documentary, Chris Brown: A History of Violence, is set to be aired on Sunday, where the female accuser will tell her story.
This case is separate from the lawsuits that were recently filed against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs by several people claiming he assaulted them in the past. The embattled rap mogul is also facing a federal indictment for sex trafficking and racketeering. His trial date for that case is set for May 2025.
