Glorilla shares pregnancy photos leaving some fans in disbelief.
The Memphis rapper is either a troll or is expecting her first child. Either way, this is the ultimate trolling since she recently admitted that she didn’t want to have children. GloRilla took to Instagram and shared two photos of herself sporting a baby bump. The mirror selfies show the rapper smiling while showing front and side angles of her baby bump where she appears to be well advanced in her pregnancy. Some fans quickly pointed out that Halloween is only a few days away.
“Was so sick of hiding and sucking my stomach in lol,” she wrote on her IG Story.
Last week, Glorilla sat down for an interview on the Out of Context podcast where she shared with Charlamagne Tha God that she doesn’t want to have children at least not via her giving birth to them, but doesn’t mind having some little ones. She also dropped some bars in her song “Procedure” about getting her tubes tied. “This n—a tryna get me pregnant, I need to tie my tubes,” she raps.
“I do want to have kids, but not my own kids,” Big Glo said. “I want to do a surrogate… want somebody else to have my baby. To have my DNA, but I don’t want to have it.”
Elaborating on her reason for not wanting to be pregnant, GloRilla shared that seeing her friends being restricted while carrying a baby to term makes her realize that life is not for her. “I don’t wanna go through that,” she said. Some fans take that as a cue for Glo to reveal her pregnancy and shock fans right after rolling out her new album, Glorious.
There are speculations that GloRilla was posting old photos and videos on her social media accounts leading up to now as she promoted her album rollout. Now that the project is out, she has revealed her pregnancy as another layer of PR to help push the project.
“Glo how you get pregnant that fast didn’t you just say you never want to have kids girl stop playing with us,” one fan wrote while adding, “This gotta be Halloween fit cuz how does it look so real.”
