Jason Lee alleges that Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been calling him about Diddy amid the allegations against the Bad Boy mogul.
Since Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ arrest in September, there have been widespread speculations about celebrities with close ties to him potentially getting caught in his web of legal troubles. The “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper was indicted for racketeering and sex trafficking by the feds in New York. He is currently being held without bond as the feds indicated that more charges could be forthcoming.
Last month, Jason Lee shared the names of numerous celebrities he saw at Diddy’s house, and among the names he mentioned were Jay-Z and Beyoncé. The blogger didn’t say he saw celebrities doing anything wrong at the mogul’s house, he just named some of the people he saw there socializing. Certainly, if you’re name is currently being attached to Diddy then it would be cause for concern, so perhaps that’s why Jay-Z and Beyonce’s people have been trying to get in touch with Lee.
“JAY-Z, I know you’re watching because you got people calling me,” Lee said on his podcast. “Stop having people call me. You can call me yourself, you know how to get my number. You got people calling me. Call me yourself because this right here is gonna go viral. I will tell you, to the audience, if I do come up missing, all the calls I’ve been getting have been about him.”
Jason Lee later clarified that he hasn’t been getting any threats from the couple or their people. It turns out that Lee isn’t the only famous media personality getting calls from Jay-Z and Beyonce people. The couple’s attorney Alex Spiro recently contacted Piers Morgan over an interview he did with Jaguar Wright who made some damning allegations about them. Morgan removed the interview and issued an apology to the couple over the claims Wright made on his show.

Diddy is currently awaiting trial after getting a May 2025 trial date for his sex trafficking case. The Bad Boy Records head is also facing six new lawsuits filed by Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing 120 people who are alleging inappropriate encounters with the entertainment mogul. Diddy’s attorneys have since dismissed the lawsuits as baseless claims.
