The truth is the rapper has been supported right through his prison stint, so actually, Bobby Shmurda has been getting an outpour of love and support ever since he got locked up in 2014.
Now that he is a free man, the Jamaican- American rapper has lots to do and many people to see. He recently spoke with Philly rapper Meek Mill on video chat during an interview with GQ. Now OVO-signed dancehall star Popcaan has joined the chat. The deejay took to Instagram to share a screenshot of him and Bobby on FaceTime. “The link stay real!!!! Live life to the fullest G, #GS9 #UNRULY @realbobbyshmurdags9 @rowdyrebel touch road kills,” Poppy wrote in the caption of the video he posted in the middle of the night on Monday.
Bobby Shmurda got out of prison after seven years on February 23, 2021. This after he was granted a conditional release amid being denied parole in 2020. In a post-prison interview with GQ, the Jamaican-American rapper insisted that he is never going back to jail. “I’ll be light-skinned in Jamaica before I go back,” Shmurda quipped during the interview.
