Rihanna’s new photo book is now on sale and she posed nude to commemorate the release.
Bajan superstar Rihanna is celebrating her latest piece of art and her first book. The singer whose memoir “The Rihanna Book” debuted on October 19, shared a photo to Instagram to promote her first official publication. In the image, @badgalriri is seated in front of several bouquets of pink and lavender roses, wearing nothing but jewelry and rose pink sunglasses with her gigantic coffee table book censoring her nude self.
The post that has since amassed over 2 million likes on Instagram shared a taste of what the book has to offer, including its 504 pages and over 1000 images. “The Rihanna Book” is a collection of the singer’s fondest memories over the last five years. The book includes some never before seen moments like Rihanna smoking a cigar with Jay-Z and Beyoncé at her 23rd birthday celebration as well as some other rare moments like when she got her chest professionally inked.
In the caption that Riri wrote on her Instagram alongside the steamy photo, the fashion mogul said, “It’s crazy to look back at all of the memories and be able to share these precious moments with you! Get your copy wherever books are sold theRIHANNABook.com.” The photo album book was exclusively available at Harvey Nichols as of October 19. Currently, it is on sale at Barnes & Noble, Waterstones, Chapters Indigo, and on the book’s website.
The large-format edition hardcover book is 16.5 x 12.625 inches and includes 11 special inserts and other special features like a removable double-sided poster. It also comes with a custom-designed black carton with a carry handle. In addition to that version, three other limited editions of the book were made: “Rihanna: Fenty x Phaidon,” “Rihanna: Luxury Supreme” and “Rihanna: Ultra Luxury Supreme.” The latter, which was priced at $75,000, is already sold out. Each limited edition of The Rihanna Book includes a different custom-made tabletop bookstand created in collaboration with the Haas Brothers.
Luckily for fans like myself, the original version of the book is still available for sale at just $150. This rare masterpiece is already an iconic memorabilia. Who knows what the auction price will start at a couple decades from now?
