Adele has reportedly found a new bae in the likes of UK grime rapper Skepta.
The “Chasing Pavements” singer has filed for divorce from Simon Konecki, approximately 2 weeks ago. To put things into perspective, Adele and her estranged husband had announced their impending split back in April of this year. Skepta is also no stranger to relationship woes. He was recently dating supermodel Naomi Campbell. However, it seemed this relationship ended as Skepta got news that another woman was welcoming his first child into the world.
The pair have been spotted in and around London, with their date at the Crystal Maze Live Experience seemingly the most intimate of their stops. It is reported that onlookers were treated to mesmerizing gazes, much like something out of a romance novel, as both Skepta and Adele kept their eyes fixated on each other.
These are two of Tottenham’s most loved and celebrated artiste and are great pals. It seems friends of the two would love to see more than mere friendship between the two, especially with the recent relationship battles each of them has been facing.
During a 2016 interview with Evening Standard Magazine, Skepta confessed that “Adele texts me all the time and keeps me in check. She speaks to me about how things are going.”
Within the same year, Adele posted an image of Skepta and captioned it “Tottenham Boy” with a heart emoji.
The “Shutdown” rapper confessed that post was like a lifeline for him and stated, “I was actually going to quit music that day, that was one of the sickest things ever. She’s like the lady of Tottenham.”
A relationship between ‘The lady of Tottenham’ and the “Tottenham Boy” sounds like something out of a fairytale and may just be what the two are looking for. Much like the friends in their circle, fans of both artistes are welcoming the union with opened arms.
