Wale is having some troubles with his album rollout and blames his own team.
Wale has always been vocal on social media about the highs and lows of his rap career, so it’s no surprise that if something goes wrong, the world is going to hear about it. The DC rapper has been frequently dropping new music including his chart-topping hit “On Chill” featuring Jeremih all leading up to the release of his forthcoming project. The artwork for the album called Wow… That’s Crazy was revealed but Wale claims it was unbeknownst to him. He also said his tracklist was leaked without his permission.
“Who album has all the features released TWO WEEKS before release . Lol a dawg.. this whole shyt is so crazy .. I’ve done my job best I could do,” the “Dice Pineapples” rapper tweeted early Tuesday morning. That message was the beginning of a longer rant about how he felt his new album rollout is being mishandled.

“This how they try to make me look crazy .1 they f*cked yo my lyrics AND lyric video 2. Released my album artwork with 20 min notice 3. Released tracklist with out my knowledge 4. Submitted all the wrong photos for press I’ll tell y’all the rest in a few ..” he continued. No word on who “they” is, but Wale signed a new record deal with Warner Bros. back in May 2018, his third major-label home after being on Interscope and Atlantic records before going independent and later signing to Warner. He gained most of his notoriety when he was signed with MMG, Rick Ross’ label, which was a division of Atlantic.
“The point is this. Somebody internally is trying to break me,” Wale continued Tuesday. “Because I’m losing my cool and I’m tryna stay on the right side of things but enough is enough. This what they do and when u react they call u crazy or say it’s small stuff .. this is their game.”

Wow… That’s Crazy is set to drop Oct. 11 and the tracklist featured artists like Ari Lennox, 6lack, Bryson Tiller and Megan Thee Stallion. However Wale later said the tracklist that leaked for his 6th studio album was not accurate. The MC has had some tough times dealing with the business side of the music biz but nonetheless, he always delivers a solid body of work. We are looking forward to hearing the album, no matter who is or isn’t on it.
