It’s been nearly six years since the tragic passing of Fast and Furious actor and respected humanitarian, Paul Walker. Paul died in a horrific accident in November 2013 where his Porsche slammed into a lamp post and caused a combustion upon impact. Now the late actor’s former co-stars are paying tribute to him on what would have been his 46th birthday.
Ludacris wrote a short message on his Instagram to his late friend to whom he said, “Happy Bday Big Bro. Your legacy Will Always Be Alive & Your Presence Felt Everywhere” and we couldn’t agree more Luda.
Vin Diesel who was like a brother to Paul, shared a lengthy Instagram post of his own in honor of Paul’s special day and all I can say is I wish someone had warned me to get those tissues ready. “Normally today I would be planning how to embarrass you with a birthday cake. Haha,” he continued. “Instead I reflect on how lucky I am to call you my brother. The tears never go away, but they change… from that of mourning to that of grace. We only hope to make you proud. Speaking of which, guess what message I woke up to… your daughter. Meadow sending me love on this day. Wow, she knows me so well. She has your heart. Happy birthday… it’s amazing, but somehow you continue to make the world a better place,” he wrote. Did anyone else’s heart skip a little when he mentioned Meadow having her father’s heart?
Also coming through with a heart popping, eye-watering message was actor and rapper Tyrese who worked alongside Paul for years on the Fast and Furious movie franchise as well. “Dear Paul, I miss you everyday bro with my whole heart!” he shared a lengthy heartfelt message and he too went on to mention the late actor’s daughter, “ps I ran into your angel Meadow she was in town to visit Vin, Paloma and the kids and my mind was blown from how tall, beautiful how strong she is- and has been….” Tyrese added. “So very of MW Just wanted to check in bro cause I know you’re somewhere up there listening and watching —Happy birthday bro!!!!!”
To people like me everywhere, the idea of Paul not being here with us is still surreal. Paul Walker’s legacy and memory will live on forever – in the hearts of his family, his friends and his fans. Happy birthday Paul!
