The long-awaited “Hot Girl Summer” video is coming very soon.
Megan Thee Stallion teased her catchy “Hot Girl Summer” song for weeks, and now fans are on edge to catch the visuals from her, Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign. After the video shoot was interrupted by the cops in Hollywood Hills a few weeks back, the final product is finally on its way.
Megan posted a 16-second sneak peek of the video to social media Tuesday saying it was “coming soon.” The clip shows a lot of hot girls, a lot of twerking and a lot of fun.
The Houston hottie also took the time to thank Nicki Minaj again for hopping on the track. “I also can’t believe that I collaborated with @NICKIMINAJ !!! This woman is one of the greatest to ever f*cking do it THANK YOU,” Megan tweeted. Nicki quickly replied and congratulated the 24-year-old bubbling star on her first-ever Video Music Award.

On Monday “Hot Girl Summer” took home the award for “Best Power Anthem” at the 2019 MTV VMAs, but some naysayers questioned how the song won an award when the video had yet to drop. Megan had a quick reply to her haters.
“Also for you silly mfs questioning how we won a VMA … the award was for a song … “POWER ANTHEM” the PEOPLE VOTED hotties have pull,” she tweeted. Her defense got support from Onika and even from R&B singer Ari Lennox.
Hot Girl Summer debuted at No. 7 on the Hot R&B and Hip Hop Songs chart and No. 11 on the Billboard top 100.
