DJ Khaled has thrown his support behind JAY-Z.
Khaled and JAY-Z have collaborated on numerous singles and appears to have a good working relationship, so it’s no surprise when the We The Best Music Group chief rallied behind the rap titan who is currently facing criticism for his deal with the NFL. A TMZ photographer caught up with DJ Khaled over the weekend and asked him about his thoughts on his friend’s deal with the NFL and the fallout that he is experiencing. He was asked if he spoke with Hov about buying a football team.
Khaled, who is known for giving off positive energy, made it clear that he was with his family and is only interested in positive energy.
“Nah, I haven’t talked to him about that,” the Miami producer said. “But shout out to JAY-Z and everything he’s doing. He’s always showing love, and always uplifting the people, and always moving the culture forward.”
DJ Khaled was also asked if he has any interest in owning an NFL team and actually entertained the idea saying, “Every day we strive to be great.”
