YNW Melly is ready to drop some new music from prison.
The South Florida rapper recently spits some fire in a freestyle during a phone call from prison with Juice WRLD. The 20-year-old rapper was arrested in February of this year and charged for murder. Law enforcement officials say the rapper conspired with another one of his associates to murder two of their associates. If found guilty, YNW Melly could get the death penalty, and that is what prosecutors are gunning for.
Melly is currently held in a Miramar detention center without bond, and since then he has been beefing up his legal defense team as he gets ready to stand trial.
Juice WRLD has been one of Melly’s biggest supporters who frequently advocate for his release from prison. The “Lucid Dreams” singer/rapper shared a video clip from a conversation he had with Melly from behind bars. YNW proves to us that he is still working on music even though he is incarcerated. Perhaps it’s time for him and Juice WRLD to come together for a new project or even a new single.
