It seems Michelle’ D’Angel’ Downer has found the fountain of youth.
The 41-year-old beauty is aging gracefully. D’Angel’s most recent Instagram post on Thursday was of her celebrating aging, something very uncommon amongst female superstars.
The former Miguel model uploaded a photo of herself clad in white shorts and top and red and white sneakers and looked very much like an adolescent, a fact that was not lost on members of her 276,000 fan base.
“Mi prettiness a multiply as mi get older,” the star wrote. In response, her fans marveled at the entertainer’s youthful looks.
“Mumma is this a recent picture? You really look much younger. Wow… you are so beautiful. Where old age ago?”
Songwriter and producer, K.C Jockey also had his say: “So let’s start to sell the remedy and call it D’angel Secrettt.. Always dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars and see yourself running with them, stay bless you doing good as always,” he told her.
Exactly one week earlier the star made a similar post about the process of aging, declaring “Aging is an extraordinary process where you become the person you should have always been #grownansexy #decent.”
Nevertheless, according to the St. Catherine High School past student, aging is an inevitable process which comes with growth and maturity and must be embraced. Her recommended regimen for the forever-young aspirants is to take care of their skin and drink lots of water, just like she does, but also allow themselves to age gracefully without any fear or trying to do artificial enhancements, which she said only worsens matters.
The mother of one’s preservation of her youthful looks could also be traced back to her training as a fashion model where great care is paid to eating healthy, good skincare regimens and exercising in order to look at optimal for the catwalk.
D’Angel was recruited as a fashion model in the 1990s and contested the Miss Jamaica Fashion Model pageant where she not only made it to the top five but was awarded sectional prizes for Best Legs and Most Congenial.
Back then the fashionista landed photo shoots with international clothing brand Rocawear and even entered and placed second in the Barbizon High Fashion modeling competition in the US, where she was the only black model.
