Offset blast Alabama controversial abortion law, and some fans only noticed his spelling.
Celebrities have been using their platforms to blast Alabama politicians for passing into law one of the most restrictive and highly controversial abortion bill. If you’re living in the state of Alabama and gets pregnant through rape and get an abortion, you can be prosecuted. Also, if you got pregnant through incest, you’re still not allowed to get an abortion. The law is so controversial that even some folks are considering moving from the state, but the problem is other States are considering similar legislation.
Celebrities like Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Cardi B, and now Offset are using their platforms to speak out against the law. “New laws is slavory To force a rape victim to keep a child is SLAVORY IM NOT PROUD TO SAY IM FROM AMERICA,” the Migos rapper wrote.
Some folks noticed that he misspelled “slavery” which take away from the broader point that he was trying to get across. “I miss spelled the word from anger sorry yal smh,” he tweeted.

Perhaps Offset could’ve used spell check, but that is besides the point that he was trying to make. The law is draconian and he is just using his platform to help bring a greater awareness.
