Kodak Black is getting backlash from all side of the hip hop spectrum.
After Justin Credible of Power 106 radio in Los Angeles announced banning of Kodak Black music, Big Boy came out swinging, saying he cannot sit by and watch another rapper disrespect Nipsey Hussle and his family. “I won’t disrespect my timeline posting a pic of Kodak Black,” Big Boy wrote. “However, I will say this, I’m not here for the blatant disrespect and fake a*s apologies. To disrespect the King Nipsey and The Queen Lauren, is where I draw the line. Hip Hop has been very disrespectful lately. Not only is this disrespectful to Hip Hop, but this is disrespectful to a beautiful human being, spirit and a legacy.”
It’s safe to say that Kodak Black will not be appearing on Big Boy Neighborhood anytime soon. “I will not stand by and let Kodak Black come between an allegiance I have with dear FRIENDS,” Big Boy continues. “Nipsey’s honor can’t be disrespected like this. We must put a shield around @LaurenLondon and his ENTIRE Family. We can’t allow these things to happen. Nipsey wouldn’t. We look the other way and forgive too easily. I’m a black man first and I love all that deserve my love.”
Nipsey Hussle appeared on Big Boy show several times, and he always speaks about real topics and uplifting youths in his community. The Victory Lap rapper was gunned down on Sunday, March 31st in what police believed was a personal dispute between himself and the suspect, Eric Holder, who is now behind bars charged with murder.
