50 Cent is replacing all his Gucci gears with Tom Ford.
If you see Tom Ford and Melania Trump trending on Twitter, it’s because of a statement the fashion designer made regarding his unwillingness to dress her. 50 Cent is one of the first celebrities to jump on the issue, and it sounds like he is planning to drop some dough on Tom Ford. “F*** Gucci, I’m wearing Tom Ford LOL #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac,” Fifty wrote on the Gram. Of course, he could just be trolling, but let’s not forget that he posted a video of himself burning some Gucci clothing right after the blackface sweater came out.
As for his harsh statement, Ford made it clear that he has no interest in dressing Melania Trump. “I have no interest in dressing a glorified escort who steals speeches and has bad taste in men,” Ford said in a tweet that has since been deleted.
Back in 2017, President Trump spoke about his wife’s beef with the fashion designer. He said then that both of them doesn’t like Tom Ford’s designs and has no plans to wear them. It seems there beef goes way back because, in 2016, Tom did an interview where he explained why he doesn’t think the First Lady should be wearing his designs.
