YBN Almighty Jay can sleep easy knowing that his attackers are behind bars.
It was only a few days ago J. Prince exposed YBN Almighty Jay‘s robbers on Instagram. The Houston Rap-A-Lot legend named Zae Numbafive as the suspect who robbed his artist of his chain and cash in New York. TMZ is now reporting that Zae and other members of his crew were arrested for a separate incident and now they’re facing attempted murder and gun charges which could send them to prison for life.
Zae and three of his crew members were picked up by police officers in the Bronx on Wednesday morning. The four men were arrested following a federal investigation into a crime unrelated to YBN Almighty Jay. The men are facing serious charges ranging from attempted murder, racketeering, and firearm related to the shooting if an off-duty NYPD police officer recently. The officer survived the shooting.
Police questioned Zae and his crew about the YBN Almighty Jay robbery incident that took place last weekend, and only two of them admitted to being at or near the scene at the time. All four men denied any criminal wrongdoings, and YBN says he is unable to identify his attackers because there was so many of them.
Almighty Jay was robbed and beaten in New York last week Friday. His attackers made off with his Rap-A-Lot chain worth $20,000, his wallet, his shoe, and $16,000 cash. The Louisiana rapper required 300 stitches to close a wound on his face. The men have not been charged for that incident, but they could change as NYPD continues their investigation.
Despite YBN Almighty Jay being unable to recognize his attackers, the good news for him is that if Zae and his crew were to be convicted for attempted murder and racketeering, they could be sent to prison for life.
YBN Almighty Jay new music video “Let Me Breathe” is now out.
