Jahmiel’s debut album is almost done.
Jahmiel is one of dancehall’s brightest new stars who emerged on the scene over the past few years with a consistent supply of good music. The Patriotz singjay announced last year that he is working on his debut album and now we’re learning that the project will arrive sometime soon. A rep for the dancehall singjay exclusive told Urban Islandz that his debut project would arrive by summer of this year. Greatman is the working title of the project, but that could change.
“The album is almost done so fans can expect some details to come soon,” his rep said. “We a aim for a Grammy nomination with this album. We need more representatives from this generation on the big stage and Jahmiel is ready to rise to the occasion. Look out for this LP it will be Greatman.”
Jahmiel has a number of singles bubbling on the airwaves like “Still Not Over You,” “Overnight Success,” “A Better Tomorrow,” “Karma,” and “I Need You.” The music video for his single “Strongest Soldier” already cracked 14 million views on YouTube, while his other hit single “U Me Luv” cracks 20 million.
