Lil Uzi Vert has stepped forward to dismiss rumors he cut his dreads.
Over the weekend, a pic of newly retired rapper Lil Uzi Vert went viral on social media. The photo shows him getting his nails done with a noticeably different hairstyle. His fans started asking questions about whether or not he cut his signature dreads off, but Uzi Vert quickly dismissed the rumors in a video posted on his Instagram Story. It turns out all that panic was for nothing because the Philly rapper is still shaking his locks. One of his associates ended up tweeting that the photo was just a weird angle. Fans also took note of the woman working on Lil Uzi Vert’s nails.
Lil Uzi Vert has been enjoying his retirement from rap, even though no one takes him seriously. While he was adamant about throwing in the towel, most of us in the media and as fans thinks that he will return sometime this year with some new music.
Uzi previously expressed his disappointment in the way his label has been handling his new music. Hopefully, both parties can and will reach an amicable resolution soon and pave the way for some new dope singles.
