Govana and Tarrus Riley drop the visual for their collaborative effort “Unanswered.”
It’s a Genna Genna, and Singy Singy links up in the video “Unanswered.” This production illustrates the best of dancehall, and we can all agree that the genre needs more high-quality collaborations like this. The track is the third single off Govana’s new project “Humans and Monsters Are Not The Same.” The single was produced by Chimney Records and Raheef Muzik Group.
“Call me, I don’t ever wonna be lonely / Need you in a me life and you only / Without you there is no other me only / But you never answer / Call me,” Tarrus Riley sings while Govana comes through with his signature flow, “Without a queen what’s a king to a palace / Yo even more than a queen you’re a Goddess / Yo make me change me life me ago be honest.”
The cut showcase Govana sending some gifts and rose to his girlfriend after the two have broken up. She later took them to the ocean to let the wave wash them away, but she couldn’t let go of one particular gift, a diamond ring.
