21 Savage’s mom and his manager Meezy is speaking out after his British birth certificate was leaked online.
The Atlanta rapper’s birth certificate has been making the rounds online. UK news outlet DailyMail published the piece of document yesterday. The handwritten birth certificate shows that 21 Savage was born in the United Kingdom as alleged by ICE. There is no way of ascertaining if the document is authenticate, but no one from the rapper’s camp has come forward to discredit it.
Savage’s mom spoke out in a scathing message on Instagram Story blasting his critics and detractors. “It’s a damn shame when we live in a world where people thrive off and feed negative energy.. laugh at others who are going through real life challenges, fighting for their lives & freedom… sick of it! However in the end people will see! This too shall come to pass[.] Free 21 Savage,” she wrote.
The “Bank Account” rapper’s manager, Stone Mound Meezy, update fans on Twitter saying that he is in good spirit. “Just got off phone wit Savage … he is in lockdown for 23hrs of the day no tv or any communication besides our 10 min phone calls … everything I’ve told him that has been happening made him happy & makes this time fly by thank y’all for the support,” he wrote.
