Juelz Santana and Kimbella wasted no time to get married.
The former Dipset rapper was sentenced to 27 months in prison for carrying a loaded gun to an airport, but before going off to jail, he makes sure to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Kimbella. Juelz Santana and Kimbella got married this week at a private ceremony in New Jersey. The couple has been together for nearly a decade and shared two children, a son name Juelz, and a daughter named Bella.
Santana proposed to Kimbella in the middle of his set at the Apollo Theater in New York on November 23, 2018. His fellow Dipset group mate Cam’ron was there, and he captured the entire thing on camera all while Jim Jones and Freekey Zekey looked on.
Juelz Santana will be spending some time behind bars, two and a half years to be exact. In March last year, TSA uncovered a loaded Derringer 38-caliber handgun in his luggage. The rapper fled the scene and turned himself in days later after an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest. He left his bag and identifications behind, and that’s how cops were able to identify him. A control substance was also found in his bag.
In August last year, Santana pleaded guilty to carrying a weapon on an aircraft and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Rolling Stone reported. If he had gone to trial and convicted he would face over a decade in prison.
