DJ Khaled is now in Jamaica and he wants to make it his permanent home.
The We The Best Music Group chief touched down on the island on Sunday to meet with Buju Banton and record his new album. In true DJ Khaled style, he has been documenting his every move on social media. The property where the rapper/DJ is staying at is so beautiful that he has expressed a serious interest in buying it.
“Am telling you that I am on like 20 acres,” Khaled said. “Can someone please get the owner on the phone. I am thinking he is going to let us use the house, but I want to buy it, it’s too beautiful… We got like seven pools and the land just keep going and going there is so much land.”
Khaled’s son Asahd was right there with his dad playing in the yard. The DJ also showcased the breathtaking view of the ocean. “Let me show you what am waking up to this is my backyard,” Khaled continues. “Man God is great how beautiful, I am like 20 acres, I am like at the biggest house, unbelievable.”
DJ Khaled is in Jamaica working on his new album Father of Asahd, due at the top of next year. We’re told that Khaled did, in fact, got to speak with the owner of the property and expressed his interest in buying it.
The DJ currently owns a US$26 Million mansion in Miami which is his permanent home, but Jamaica has always been like a second home for him. He also has an $8 million waterfront mansion in Miami which he just listed on the market.
