Drake and Meek Mill are friends again, and the below meme pretty much sums up how they reunite.
Not only did Drake and Meek Mill make peace, but they also collaborated on a new song “Going Bad” on the Philly rapper’s new album Championships, released today. The meme shows the two rappers face on two NBA players heads while having a heart to heart with the championship trophy in between them.
“Let me apologize to you if I hurt you, that we haven’t been together, and god is good to bring us back together,” Drake said in the voice of his father while Meek appears to have shed a few tears. Drizzy captioned the clip with “Championship” and some crying laughing emoji. Meek also commented on the post with some crying emoji. The whole exchanged is so hilarious that a bunch of celebrities commented on it.
Of course, Drake limited his comment section to only his celebrity friends who have been commenting on it laughing their azz off just like the rest of us. On their new single “Going Bad” Meek made a wordplay on Drizzy’s infamous diss track “Back To Back.”
“Me and Drizzy back-to-back, it’s gettin’ scary (Back-to-back) / If you f***in’ with my odds, it’s don’t come near me (Get outta my way) / Put some bands all on your head like Jason Terry (Brrt, brrt, ooh),” the “Wins and Loses” rapper spits while the Toronto MC handles the chorus.
It’s good to see Drake and Meek Mill back on good terms after their very public and often bitter falling out back in 2015. The Maybach Music Group rapper even admitted in a recent interview that he was at a low point in his life when he started to accuse the OVO boss of using ghostwriters to write his raps. He now says that he never have any proof of that.
