Lil Wayne still owes his baby mama Nivea some racks for her guest feature on his new album “Tha Carter V.”
Lil Wayne is currently dominating the charts and the airwaves with his new album “Tha Carter V,” but it seems he still got some accounting work to do behind the scenes because his baby mama Nivea says she still hasn’t received her check. The R&B singer sat down with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club where she spilled the beans about how she landed a spot on one of the biggest albums of the year and why she hasn’t gotten paid.
Nivea said that she wrote the hook for the song a while back and sent it back to Lil Wayne and he said he loves it. She revealed that she only received word that she will be on the album a month before the project came out, but when DJ Envy asked her if she got paid for the feature, she said Weezy hasn’t come through with a check as yet.
Given that Wayne is the father of one of her kids, I am sure that they will work it out somehow. Nivea also spoke about her current relationship with Lil Wayne and her other baby daddy, The-Dream. C5 is now out, and we also know that Drake didn’t make the cut because Weezy couldn’t get clearance for some songs.
