Ella Mai serves up her self-titled debut on Friday and here is how Twitter reacts.
The 16-track project was produced by DJ Mustard who heads the label that Ella Mai is now signed to. The project saw guest appearances from Chris Brown on the new single “Whatchamacallit,” H.E.R. who appeared on “Gut Feeling,” and John Legend who came through for the cut “Everything.” The album also featured the triple platinum single “Boo’d Up” and the gold-certified track “Trip” which caused some controversies with Jacquees recently when his remix went viral.
In a previous interview with Rolling Stone, the British singer-songwriter said, “R&B is not dead. We can make it mainstream again. Clearly, people love it.” She is absolutely correct, because her songs are getting a lot of attention even from hardcore rap fans. Ella Mai is currently touring with Bruno Mars on his “24K Magic World Tour” of North America.
