Gucci Mane drops $1.7 million on his wedding to Keyshia Ka’oir, and now his baby mama wants $20,000 per month in child support.
Gucci Mane is a wealthy rapper, but even for him, $20,000 per month in child support is still a big deal. The Atlanta trapper got married to his wife last year in a lavish ceremony that was televised live on BET. The wedding cost him almost $2 million, and they’ve been living happily ever since.
According to People, Gucci Mane’s baby mama Sheena Evans files new court documents demanding that her child support payments be increased from $2,026.49 to $20,000. She pretty much wants ten times the amount that he has been paying. That child support deal was struck in 2011, and now Evans is arguing that the East Atlanta Santa is making a boatload of money from his recent music sales and business deals.
In her legal documents, Evans also reference Guwop’s $1.7 million wedding to Keyshia Ka’oir which was aired on BET in a 10 part series titled “Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir: The Mane Event.”
Gucci Mane wrote about his son in his book, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, where he spoke about not knowing that he had a kid until he was ten months old. The rapper said he did a DNA test and that’s how he found out that he was the father.
