Swae Lee says he will sue the fan who busted his lip when she threw a phone on stage.
The Rae Sremmurd rapper was taken to the hospital on Sunday night where he received stitches for a busted lip. A fan threw a cell phone on stage while Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi were performing at Wiz Khalifa’s Dazed & Blazed Tour stop in Dallas, TX. The rapper/singer was visibly upset as he yelled some expletives on stage all while blood covered his mouth.
In a video clip posted on his Instagram Live, Swae showed fans his injury while letting it be clear that he will be suing the fan who threw the cell phone. “I’m heated bro fan just through a phone on stage like a baseball I’m suing on my life,” he said.
Swae Lee added on Twitter that he lost a tooth in the ordeal but says he will continue to perform on tour for his fans. The “Black Beatle” rapper initially said he would likely miss a few tour dates as a result of his injuries, but it now seems like he wants to continue to perform.
“Just got stitches in my lip and bought some finding Neeemo bandades and Star Wars bandades the tour continues,” he tweeted. “Crazy night man I lost my tooth and my virginity.”
