Popcaan’s new album Forever is on track for a number one debut on the Billboard Reggae Chart next week.
Popcaan graced dancehall fans with his new album Forever last week Friday and since then the project has been getting rave reviews. The 17-track album is currently the top streaming album on Spotify and iTunes/Apple Music. The project was executive produced by Dre Skull of Mixpak Records and features a guest spot from Nigerian singer Davido. Some fans are calling it his best body of work to date.
Popcaan held a listening party in New Kingston last weekend and thousands of fans turned out for the event. The Unruly Boss performed at the event as well as some of his celebrity friends including Jah Vinci, Nesbeth, Bugle and more.
Forever also peaked at No. 20 on the U.S. iTunes over the weekend and No. 21 on Apple Music top album charts. “FOREVER is now@ #20 on iTunes top album charts in the us (all Genres).. and 21 on Apple Music top album charts in the us #popcaanforever thanks for the support respect,” Popcaan wrote.
