Popcaan Blast Elvis Of So Unique For Putting His Name On Riddim Promo

Popcaan is making it clear that he is not a part of a new riddim being promoted by So Unique head Elvis Redwood.

Last week, So Unique posted a promo art on Instagram for an upcoming riddim featuring Vybz Kartel, Alkaline, Mavado, Popcaan, and Aidonia, who are five of the top artists in dancehall. These are also artists who are enemies being put on the same project. Popcaan says he wants nothing to do with the new riddim and wants his name off the artwork.

“Pu*** don’t put me name pan no artwork enuh battyman.. me and you a friend fa****,” Popcaan wrote in the comments on the post. The unruly Boss has since deleted the post but not before we grabbed a screenshot. It’s unclear what issues Popcaana and Elvis had, but clearly, things are not good between them.

The other artists featured on the project have not responded to the post, but last year Elvis Redwood and Vybz Kartel had a small spat over the “Loodi” collaboration with Shenseea.

Popcaan is currently gearing up to make his big screen debut this summer in The Intent 2 as well as working on a new project.
