Logic has broken his silence about his breakup with wife Jessica Andrea.
The “I Am The Greatest” rapper issued a statement on Wednesday confirming the split while also asking for privacy. News of the couple’s demise surfaced last weekend and after days of speculations, Logic has now stepped forward to address the news. “After two years of marriage, we have come to the loving conclusion that we are much better as friends,” he wrote in a statement posted on social media. “As entertainers, we have made every aspect of our lives public, yet we would appreciate your respect and privacy on this issue.”
While he didn’t delve into the details regarding why they suddenly decided to go their separate ways, Logic made it clear that there is no bitterness between the two and that there was no cheating or any drama. “It’s very simple: it just didn’t work out,” the rapper said. “There is no anger involved. No fighting, no cheating, no nothing. We love each other and will continue to support each other for the rest of our lives.”
He also asked his fans to not be sad because they’re both still friends and are supportive of each other. “To all the fans: don’t be sayd,” he continues. “Be happy that we could peacefully end this chapter of our relationship, beginning a new one full of love and happiness.”
There is still hope that Logic and Jessica may get back together because after he posted that statement, she tweeted, “I love you Bobby … and love to all the fans!” He then commented on her tweet saying, “I love you Jess! You’re my best friend.” This breakup seems like nothing a few sessions of therapy can’t fix so let’s hope that Logic and Jessica will work things out.
