Shaggy and Sting performed at the Super Bowl LII tailgate show on Sunday.
The dancehall legend and Sting is hot off a performance at the Grammys a week ago and now they turned up at the 2018 Super Bowl 52 pre-game show to entertain fans. The duo released their new single “Don’t Make Me Wait” last month which is the first track from their upcoming joint album 44/876, due in April this year. Shaggy and Sting performed a 15-minute set comprising of a mixture of their new collaborative single and some of their old solo classics like “Roxanne,” “Boombastic,” and “It Wasn’t Me.”
Shaggy and Sting have been working on their joint album 44/876 since last year and we’re told the album is almost complete. “The album is almost done just some finishing touches going in now so it will be ready for April,” a rep for the dancehall icon told Urban Islandz. This is the first joint album between Shaggy and Sting who have been friends for years. The pair will be embarking on a world tour to promote the album later this year starting in North America.
