Vybz Kartel previews two new raunchy singles for the Christmas holiday.
The Gazanation boss teased the upcoming singles, “My Boo” and “Watch Over Us,” on his Instagram last night. The songs were produced by TJ Records and could arrive as early as this weekend, sources told us. “LIKE I SAID!!!…GAZAGURLZ LETS PARTY TOGETHER THIS CHRISTMAS.WANNA BE MY BOO? COMING SOON,” Kartel wrote. We’re told that the singles could arrive as early as tomorrow night.
“Think of these two tracks as a Christmas treat for the ladies from the Worl’Boss,” sources said. “TJ [Records] had these tracks in the vault for a little while and we think it’s the right time to release them. The single “My Boo” is a bit of a dancehall love song that will showcase Kartel’s versatility. You will find that The Teacha won’t come with the same style and flow with every song, it’s always something different.”
Since around August, Vybz Kartel has been dropping an average of two songs per week and is showing no signs of slowing down. This week he already released one song and could drop two more by tomorrow. Despite being behind bars since 2011, Kartel seems like he is the hardest working artist in dancehall currently.
