Joey Badass and Logic are having a lot of fun on tour and yesterday they posted a clip on Instagram of themselves freestyling.
Logic has been showing his competitive nature over the last few weeks while touring. Just last week he did an on stage Mario Kart battle with Lil Yachty and won and then days after that he did a rap battle with his bodyguard and won. This time he engaged his tour mate Joey Badass in a friendly freestyle and it’s fun to watch.
The two lyricist sat down on their tour bus in between their concerts in Boston and Philadelphia where they go bar for bar over an authentic hip hop beat. The whole thing was captured on an iPhone camera and posted on Instagram. This is certainly not the best lyrics we’ve ever heard from both Joey Badass and Logic, but to see them bouncing off each other’s wordplay on the spot is pretty impressive. There is no two better due to go on a tour together than these two young hip hop stars.
Logic started his own record label Elysium back in June this year, a move that he took to put his career and music in his own hands. Their current tour runs all the way through to August 26 when they will wrap things up in Toronto. They have upcoming shows in Baltimore tomorrow and Kansas City this weekend. Joey Badass has been taking time out in between his tour dates to record new music for his new project with Pro Era. Badass is also prepping for his next Capital Steez’s album. We already got three new tracks from him recently that has been getting some positive feedback. Perhaps we can expect a joint project from both Joey Badass and Logic.
