Suge Knight’s legal troubles are far from over. The former Death Row Records head was indicted for threatening to kill Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray.
The alleged death threats took place while Gray was filming the hit movie in Los Angeles and that was before Knight ran over his friend with his SUV and killed him. On Thursday, a Los Angeles County Grand Jury indicted Suge Knight on felony criminal threats for his death threats to the movie director, TMZ reported.
The death threats took place a couple of months before Knight famously ran over his friend for which he is standing trial for murder. The dead man was also involved in the production of the film. The Grand Jury noted their indictment that, “on or about August 8, 2014, Suge … threatened to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury to Felix Gary Gray.”
Suge Knight made the threats because he was upset about the way he was portrayed in the movie Straight Outta Compton. Knight people are saying that the prosecution’s murder case against him is falling apart and that is why they are pinning more charges against him.
