DMX and Eve put on a show for their fans at the Ruff Ryders Reunion concert in Brooklyn on Friday night at The Barclays Center.
The mega concert brings back a lot of memories from the late 1990s to early 2000s when Ruff Ryders was one of the most envious crews in hip hop. Both DMX and Eve saw massive commercial success with their solo efforts back then. But is the game ready for a Ruff Ryders comeback? I think it is or perhaps they should all put out a Ruff Ryders compilation album or a joint DMX and Eve album.
Swizz Beatz also performed at the sold out event and brought some special guests including New York rap veterans Remy Ma and Fat Joe. Bad Boy rapper French Montana also made a surprised appearance. DMX also made headline for his impromptu rant on stage where he scold some fans for not respecting him as a role model. “You can always count on me to hear what I need to said, but don’t worry about what am going to do,” he said.
