Drake has finally confirmed a new release date for More Life. The album is coming on March 18, 2017.
The playlist has seen numerous delays since it was announced in October of last year. In a video clip posted on his Instagram account, the 6 God announced that More Life will be released on Saturday, March 18. “Hey more tune for your head top so watch how you speak on my name you know,” Drake said in the clip that shows footage of his “Boy Meets World” tour.
Back in December Drake’s team announced that More Life would be delayed until early 2017 and everyone thought that it would have been released from January, but that didn’t happen. At the end of that month, he told his fans at his Amsterdam concert that the project would be available before he returned to the Dutch capital. But he has since been back there to perform and the album has yet to see the light of day.
After fans turned up the heat on social media demanding that he released More Life, Drake has announced for the first time an official release date. Sources inside OVO told Urban Islandz that the album will be available in March for sure and any more delays. “You can even More Life for sure this month unless something major happens but that’s unlikely so more tune coming,” sources said.
During his “Boy Meets World” tour stop in Germany on Friday night, Drake told the crowd that he would be completing the album in a hotel that night. “I know it has taken me a while, but am going to the hotel tonight finishing that more life sh*t so I can give it to you as soon as possible,” Drizzy said. “I hope ya’ll are ready to enjoy some new music.” This will surely be some exciting news for Drake fans who have been refreshing their Twitter feed every 10 seconds to get an update on the album.
