The rumor mill has been in full swing claiming that Future will be dropping a third album this weekend.
A The Ellen DeGeneres Show press release on Monday only exacerbate the rumors. The release states that Future will be attempting to have three No. 1 albums in three weeks making him the first rapper to do that. Over the last two weeks, the Freebandz rapper released his self-titled album and another album last Friday HNDRXX. Both projects debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The Atlanta rapper’s manager, Anthony Saleh, has stepped forward to deny the reports of a third album on its way. “FALSE “@thefader: Future is releasing another album this week, according to The Ellen Show,” he wrote on Twitter.
The album HNDRXX came as a surprise after he released FUTURE but a third album would surely send his fans into a frenzy. At a time when music has become disposable, dropping three back-to-back albums would not be a surprise.
