Remember the producer who accused Chief Keep of beating him breaking his jaw. Well, he just found himself in a mountain of legal troubles.
Music producer Ramsay Tha Great, whose real name is Brandon Christopher Ramsay, was arrested yesterday and slapped with two felony charges of pimping and pandering two women in Orange County. The LA Times reported that the Granada Hills music producer pleaded not guilty to the charges on Thursday.
Ramsay is facing up to seven years in prison for charges including two felony counts of pandering by procuring and an additional two charges of felony counts of pimping in Orange County. The two women he is accused of pimping are an 18-year-old and a 20-year-old. Prosecutors say they have evidence of advertisements depicting the two women soliciting commercial sex. The producer used the profits from the acts for his own personal benefits.
The two women were busted by an undercover cop who made contact with them through the advertisement and arranged to meet at a hotel. Both women ratted out Ramsay after they were busted.
“The defendant is accused of possessing evidence of pimping and sending text messages to the victims containing language consistent with pimping prior to his arrest,” a news release from the Orange County DA’s office read.
Just last month, Ramsay Tha Great filed a police report against rapper Chief Keef for allegedly breaking into his Granada Hills home with his goons and assaulted him. He suffered some severe injuries including a broken jaw and a fractured arm during the ordeal.
Ramsay is being held on a $70,000 bail and his next court date is set for February 21. He faces up to 7 years in prison if he is convicted of the crimes. Somewhere Chief Keef and his crew are watching all of this unfold and reacting.
