Tommy Lee Sparta is still awaiting on a response from Jamaica’s Attorney General regarding his lawsuit against the Dominican government.
Back in 2014, Tommy Lee along with three members of his entourage were detained upon arrival in Dominica for a concert. Authorities say that he poses a security threat to the country and subsequently deported him back to Jamaica the following day.

The Gothic dancehall deejay later filed a lawsuit against the Caribbean island.
“We have prepared the necessary documents, negotiated and made our claims, so we are waiting for a response from the Attorney General of Jamaica, who is acting on our behalf,” Tommy Lee lawyer, Burt Samuels, said. “They have not got a response as yet, though.”
Jamaica’s deputy solicitor general and director of the International Affairs Division, Dr Kathy-Ann Brown, already sent a letter to her counterpart in Dominica requesting an amicable resolution.
