Jennifer Lopez will be receiving an icon award at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards.
It’s been 15 years since the latino singer made her musical debut. She has since became a global sensation.

According to Billboard, Jennifer Lopez will also be performing two songs at the May 18 BBMA, which will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
She will be premiere her World Cup anthem “We Are One (Ole Ola)” with Pitbull and also debut her new single “First Love.”
The Icon Award is usually feted to artists for their lifetime achievement and who has made a remarkable contribution to popular music.
Jennifer Lopez will be the first woman to be given the Billboard Music Awards Icon Award. She is also the fourth recipient.
