Odd Future rapper Tyler, the Creator was arrested last weekend for allegedly influencing his fans to start a riot at the annual South by Southwest festival.
According to reports, Tyler, whose real name is Tyler Gregory Okonma, was picked up by cops at a airport in Austin, Texas on Saturday.
Police officers say the rapper yelled at his fans to break through a barricade at the Converse/Thrasher “Death Match” concert at Austin’s Scoot Inn.
He was released on a $25,000 bond and if convicted he face a year behind bars and a fine of $4000 for inciting a riot.
Tyler, the Creator took to Twitter to address the situation yesterday.
