Eminem and his mother Debbie Mathers have had a tumultuous relationship over the years, but now the Detroit emcee is ready to put that all in the past.
In the past Eminem released some scathing lyrics about his mother on previous singles and she also slapped him with several lawsuits.

Eminem cough up an heartfelt apology to his mother on “Headlights,” off his new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2.
Here are some of the lyrics to Eminem “Headlights”:
“I went in headfirst/ Never thinkin’ about who what I said hurt, in what verse/ My mom probably got it the worst, the brunt of it/ But as stubborn as we are, did I take it too far?”
“‘Cleanin’ Out My Closet’ and all them other songs, but regardless, I don’t hate you/ ‘Cause ma, you’re still beautiful to me ’cause you’re my mom.”
“But ma, I forgive you/ So does Nathan, yo/ All you did, all you said, you did your best to raise us both,” he raps. “Foster care, that cross you bare, few may be as heavy as yours/ But I love you Debbie Mathers/ Oh, what a tangled web we have.”
Eminem went as far as to thank his mother for being both his mom and dad. The single “Headlights” also features an appearance from Nate Ruess.
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 hit stores on Tuesday, November 5.
