Shaggy is one of the biggest selling reggae/dancehall artists of all time, and now he is looking to push the genre even further with the launch of a new record label, Ranch Entertainment.
After launching the label in New York last year, Shaggy will be unveiling the label in Kingston on February 26 at Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records.

“We already did a launch in New York and now we’re doing the Jamaican one. Pretty much everyone that I was doing work with at Big Yard are involved in my new label,” Shaggy says.
Shaggy, who recently split from Robert Livingston’s Big Yard label after almost two decades, says his label is a separate entity from Big Yard.
“On Tuesday night, we’ll also be premiering two new videos – Love Jam which features Red Fox and GC and Couple Up which features Konshens,” Shaggy says. “This launch is basically to let people know, who might not be aware, that we are now a separate entity from Big Yard.”
