No Showing Of Body Parts, Grammy Gets Strict On Dress Code

CBS is trying to avoid any controversy at the Grammy Awards Ceremony this weekend.

According to The Associated Press, CBS reps sent out a memo on Wednesday warning against “see-through clothing,” exposure of “the genital region” and said that “thong type costumes are problematic.”

CBS is taking the precaution after it was fined by the Federal Communications Commission FCC, for the 2004 Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction at the Super Bowl halftime show.

Despite her well received performance at this year’s Super Bowl, Beyonce also received some criticism for her skimpy attire.

Stars such as Rihanna, Pink, and lady Gaga also have a reputation of turning up at these events wearing very revealing clothes.

“I like that they’re doing that,” singer Scherzinger told omg!. “I don’t see any problem with it because [at the rate it’s going] eventually everyone is going to be coming in bikinis and showing nothing but skin.”

The Grammy Awards will broadcast live on CBS starting at 8 p.m. EST at the Staples Center in Los Angeles
