Former Bad Boy rapper Shyne says that Jennifer Lopez owes him after he protect her during that infamous 1999 club shooting involving her then boyfriend Diddy.
In an interview with WGTV, Shyne says the latino singer/actress could has been killed if he didn’t protect her from armed men.
“I wasn’t thugging and bugging that night, you dig,” Shyne said. “Somebody was getting ready to pop ol’ boy’s head off. It might not have been no Jennifer Lopez movies or none of that if I didn’t pull my ratchet and squeeze off.”

“I was actually the best behaved because I don’t drink and I don’t smoke. You dig? But I’m from the streets so when it’s time for my hammer to go off, it goes off,” he added.
After the incident in 1999, Shyne was convicted and sent to prison for nine years
Diddy reported paid close to $1 million in a out of court settlement to the victims involved in the shooting.
