Hip-hop is mourning the lost of one of its own today. Veteran music manager Chris Lighty died this morning in what appears to be suicide.
According to New York Daily News, Lighty was found dead outside his apartment in Bronx at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Thursday (August 30).
Lighty was a longtime manager of Diddy, 50 Cent, Mariah Carey, Ja Rule, Fantasia, Mya, Mobb Deep, Nas, and LL Cool J.
Police sources say it appears Lighty shot himself in the head outside his South Riverdale apartment after an argument with his wife Veronica. Officers who visit the scene says his body was found laying faceup with a 9mm pistol close to his body.
