After her infamous no-show at this year’s Hot 97 Summer Jam concert at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in June.
The Young Money femcee promised her hometown fans that she would performed at a concert this summer and she is making good on that promise. Minaj recently announced that she will be performing at a concert in New York City on August 14th.

“Hey barbz, I’m happy to announce my #Free #pinkfridaytour show in #NewYork is going down on aug14th. (This is in ADDITION 2 the Today show),” Nicki Minaj tweeted.
“I’m gonna push the time to line up @ the venue back a bit so u guys don’t have to miss the Today show,” Nicki Minaj added.
According to rumors, the concert will be held at the Roseland Ballroom and is being sponsored by Pepsi.
Tickets will be given away by a number of New York radio stations including WBLI, Z100, 92.3, Power 105.1, and Hot 97.
