Jay-Z has become the first solo hip-hop artist to headline New York City’s prestigious Carnegie Hall venue in February 2012.
The concerts will be done in conjunction with United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.
The hip-hop titan has already expressed how excited he is to take the legendary stage. The prestigious Carnegie Hall isn’t known for hosting hip-hop concerts, and when Jay was asked if he’ll be performing the infamous “N****s In Paris” at the shows, the idea made him chuckle. “It just has to go down,” Jay laughed. “I don’t know. I ain’t think of that. That’d be great!”
