Assault charges against former Portmore Empire dancehall artist Lisa Hyper was dropped yesterday when she appeared in the Corporate Area Criminal Court.
Hyper said both she and the complainant reached an amicable agreement resulting in the charges being dropped.
“Well basically the complainant and myself dropped the case, so its all good right now, we just rub it out like pencil mark,” Lisa Hyper said.
The charge stemmed from an alleged incident during the summer of this year. According to reports, Lisa Hyper was allegedly doused with urine by her former friend.
The two later had a physical altercation and Lisa Hyper was charged with assault.
