Rap mogul Jay-Z has finally respond to Lil Wayne diss, though he didn’t have much to say on the topic.
Hov, who is anxiously awaiting his first child with wife beyonce, told MTV News that he don’t think much of it.
“That’s sport, that’s rap music,” said Jay. “Nothing is going to change but the participants. I don’t even see why that’s news.”
Lil Wayne’s controversial verse appears on track called “It’s Good,” off his latest album Tha Carter IV, featuring Jadakiss and Drake.
“Talkin’ about baby money, I got your baby money, kidnap your bi–h, get that how much you love your lady money/ I know you fake ni**a, press your brakes ni**a/ I’ll take you out, that’s a date, ni**a,” raps Weezy.
The controversial lyrics were allegedly in response to a verse from Jay-Z on a track called “H.A.M,” where he took shots at Birdman.
“I’m like really, half a billi, ni**a really you got baby money/ Keep it real with ni**as, ni**as ain’t got my lady money,” the Roc Nation head raps.
